​We are Evanston's community band.  Our name, the Ridgeville Band of Evanston, reflects the ongoing support we receive from Evanston's Ridgeville Park District.  The members of the Ridgeville Band are a group music lovers with a wide range of life experience, from high school students to retirees.  We include teachers, lawyers, graphic designers, doctors, salespeople, social workers, computer programmers and students.  Many members have played in high-school or college musical organizations before joining while others have played professionally and semi-professionally.  We are brought together by our shared passion for playing and sharing music and are proud that we create an easy-going, fun and supportive environment in which to play.
